The App Feature: Logically Labeled Instructions & Supplies
What it does: The Mobilize Rescue App will help an untrained bystander find life-saving medical supplies that have been logically organized and labeled (by number and color) to correspond with the instructions in the Mobilize Rescue App.
Why it’s important: Bystanders can find medical supplies quickly and easily, so that they can provide quality care, faster.
How it works during a bleeding emergency:
The Mobilize Rescue App will prompt you to find a tourniquet by looking for the red label that says "TOURNIQUET A1.” (This way, even if you’ve never seen a tourniquet, you can find it quickly.)
Once you’ve located the tourniquet with the correct label, you can follow the Mobilize Rescue App’s instructions to apply the tourniquet. The Mobilize Rescue App will continue to prompt you to find other life-saving equipment following the same, intuitive process. (The app will go on to show you how to apply direct pressure with QuikClot and how to properly apply a pressure dressing. Once you stop the bleeding, the Mobilize Rescue App will direct you to the labeled emergency blanket to prevent hypothermia from setting in.)

The Bystander Benefit: Reduce Stress & Improve Care
The Mobilize Rescue App will make it easier for an untrained bystander, unfamiliar with life-saving supplies, to provide quality care quickly and effectively. The labeled contents will save the bystander the frustration of searching through a bag of unknown medical supplies.
The Organizational Benefit: Reduce Preparedness Anxiety
What is good for the bystander is good for the organization. The Mobilize Rescue App makes it easier for civilians to provide care, which can relieve the anxiety safety leaders face about preparedness.
